Online Tutoring for people who want to improve their English

Offerings
1. Fluency Training
You will get 1-1 or 1-3 max. online training from expert teachers to improve your listening, pronunciation and speaking skills.
  • The tutor leads the training
  • Conversations over Skype or Zoom
  • Access to online exercises for grammar, reading etc
  • 1 hour sessions once a week, or more often if you would like.
  • Registration fee $25 for two month access to online exercises + $50.00 per hour for each 1 hour session
2. Reading and Writing Support
You will get 1-1 or 1-3 max. support with reading and writing skills, grammar, report writing skills, assignment proof reading.

Online Tutoring for Intermediate and Secondary School Students

Online learning programs are fine for those with good self-directed learning skills. However, we all need help from someone else at some point. And what better way than to have the support of an actual tutor so that you can:
  • get feedback that is "just for you and just in time"
  • access subject specialists who are also skilled in distance education
  • work on the skills and content knowledge you need - when you need it.
  • use high-quality and relevant resources (online and hard copy) that have a track record of improving results
  • work from the comfort of your own home.

We currently offer online tutorials in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Accounting.

Offerings
1. Guided Online Learning via Skype/Zoom.
  • Maximum of 3 students per group
  • 1 hour sessions once a week, or more often if you would like
  • Tutor assistance with school and assessment related activities, learning-how-to-learn skills, follow-up online activities, regular communication with parents/caregivers regarding achievement and progress.
  • Registration fee of $39 for access to online interactive resources + $50.00 per hour for each 1 hour session
2. Online Monitoring only
  • Students purchase a 365 day eLivewire access code and work independently.
  • Student results and achievements are monitored and reported on weekly by a subject tutor
  • Fees: $15.00 per week
  • Where longer 1:1 intervention is required, parent/caregivers are contacted to discuss the learning issues and arrange for short tutoring sessions ($17.50 per 15 minute slot)
3. Independent
  • Purchase an eLivewire licence and work independently
